Post Abortion Services at Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center offers a safe, confidential place for you to learn about and walk through the healing process so that you can feel forgiven and set free.

 

Facilitators lovingly guide you step by step to access feelings of anger, sadness, guilt, and other emotions. It seems as though we just began 2005, and yet here we are quickly approaching the year’s end. Times are moving fast! As I reflect back on the lives that have been touched and forever changed not just this year, but the many years prior, it leaves me with a tremendous satisfaction. God’s miraculous work has been demonstrated time after time right before our very eyes! What better reason to celebrate? We will do just that in November with a special dinner reunion to honor all of our friends who received healing this year.

The deliverance and forgiveness of the guilt and shame associated with abortion is indeed miraculous. To consider the sadness, anger, isolation, regret and self destructing patterns that many women & men are left to deal with, often for many years after having an abortion; it is nothing short of a miracle to be forgiven and set free from such a torment.

As we rejoice with one another for the the great things God has done, we are careful to not lose sight of the lives of many others still filled with pain.

I love where Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. “For my yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

It is a reality of many to labor day after day to keep others from ever knowing about their abortion and the great deal of indescribable emotion they now have. Many continue on with their daily routines, working hard to pretend that everything is okay. Although things on the outside look fine, the inside holds a very different story. Fear is one of the biggest factors that can keep you from ever sharing your experience. One can’t help but to wonder what others will think, or whether they will still feel the same about you. Although others around you may have no idea what you’re battling within yourself, God knows! He knows and cares so much for you! He desires to set you free from the burden of your past, to heal your heart, and to finally give you rest.
