What is Prevention Services?

Prevention Services offers hope in the lives of teens and young adults by providing:  Save Sex Until Marriage Education/Resources including Purity, STD’s (Sexually Transmitted Disease) and HIV/AIDS, One-on-one and Group Straight Talk about Sexual Decisions.

What Prevention Services does Alpha Provide?

Materials-  We offer educational resources from several publishers. All of the materials are carefully selected to inform, uplift and protect those seeking information
Motivational Speakers*- Our speakers cover a broad range of topics dealing with tough issues our youth are facing today. Each speaker provides information and encouragement for youth and parents in making choices affecting their future.  *All Speakers have completed our Speakers Bureau Training
Training-  We offer instruction and application of new curriculum, relating to the concerns of youth today. When we work together great things are accomplished for our youth and all society. We count it a privilege to offer training for our community educators.

Group and One-on-One Peer Counseling-  Our peer counselor staff knows your situation is unique and important.  We are here to listen to your concerns and to provide you with accurate, up-to-date information to help you make an informed choice regarding your sexual health.  Every peer counselor has completed extensive training and is equipped to serve you.

Who will know the results of my appointment?

We respect your right to privacy.  We believe that you are the one to decide with whom and when to discuss your pregnancy.  No records will be released without a signed consent form from you.  All communication is kept confidential to the extent allowed by law.

What kind of support can I expect to receive if I have already had sex or if I have already had an abortion?

We are here to listen to your concerns and to support you unconditionally, whatever decision you make.  Abortion recovery peer counseling is also available at Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center.

A Second Chance Is the Decision To STOP Having SEX and To SAVE it for MARRIAGE.  You will receive peer support and counseling in your decision of  how renew virginity frees you From Unplanned pregnancy, Emotional trauma, Broken relationships, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Abortion, Being used and Guilt.
And it restores A future with many choices, A positive self image, Your self respect, Your self control, Your health, Trust in others and Confidence in relationships
