1984:
A group of pro-life Christians saw the need to offer an alternative to help women facing an unplanned pregnancy and those considering abortion.
January 1986:
After two years of meeting, training, and prayer the Alpha Center opened in Fairfield.
November 1988:
Alpha moved its location from Fairfield to Vacaville (closing out the presence in Fairfield), and shared a space with two other Christian ministries.
September 1998:
Alpha opened a second Center in Fairfield, only a block away from the original location. At this time we added an Advisory Board of local pastors and community leaders to the structure. Alpha also formed a Speaker’s Bureau, providing speakers to many events in the community, schools and churches.
March 2007:
Alpha opened a satellite office in Benicia and began the process to become a licensed medical clinic in California.
August 2008:
Received official licensing as medical clinic in the state of California
November 2008:
First group of nurses completed training in Ultra-sonography
January 2009:
Held grand re-opening at Vacaville location as a licensed Medical Clinic.
October 2009:
Launched Alpha Imaging, Mobile Medical Unit
November 2009:
Relocated Benicia Center to Vallejo
