Alpha Pregnancy Resource Centers offers Hope, Help and Healing to Solano County in all matters of life.  Alpha was founded in 1986 and has expanded to 3 centers and a Mobile Medical Unit that services Solano County over 20 hours a week.  Alpha knows that a crisis pregnancy can be one of the most difficult times of our clients lives.  We are here to offer information and education, including free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, so that our client can make an informed decision about her pregnancy. 

Since 1973 when abortion in the US was legalized, over 40 million women have chosen abortion. It is estimated that 43% of all women will have at least 1 abortion by the time they are 45 years old.  With numbers that high, the Christian community cannot ignore that there are many walking wounded in our midst.Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center provides compassionate care, practical help and accurate information to women who believe they're pregnant and who may be considering abortion. We offer help without judgment, and we want to be the first place that these clients go so they can understand all of their options.

One in Three

Statistically, one in every three women has experienced an abortion. Our center works to prevent abortions in our community, to encourage abstinence in our youths and singles, and to bring healing to men and women impacted by past abortions.

Over 80% of women who chose abortion say if they had felt just one person supported another decision, they would not have chosen to have an abortion. 75% of abortions occur due to concerns about finances, circumstances or relationships. At Alpha PRC we offer practical, compassionate ways to remove the barriers that cause women to choose abortion and provide the opportunity for every woman to make positive choices for herself and for her unborn children.

For women who choose to parent, Alpha PRC provides pregnancy support through medical referrals and parenting classes.  We also provide information on adoption for clients who want to carry their child, but aren't ready to parent.

For those who chose abortion or have made that choice in the past, Alpha offers a Recovery Program to help them find healing.  Alpha has recently opened this Recovery program up to those who have suffered a miscarriage or stillbirth.
