pregnancy verification through ultrasound.
We have exciting news in our progress towards providing pregnancy verification through ultrasound. Since our last report on our vision for a Mobile Medical Unit, Alpha has turned in a positive direction that will be a greater benefit to those we serve in Solano County. After 10 years of praying and seeking the Lord, our long awaited desire to relocate our Vacaville Office has turned into an expansion project in our current location. The new space combined with our current location will be enough to offer a new reception area, counseling rooms, exam rooms for ultrasound and much more.
How does all this tie into our goal of having a mobile medical unit? Perfectly. According to our legal covering N.I.F.L.A. (National Institute of Family and Life
Advocates), the state of California has strict medical laws and it would be in our best interest to operate a medical mobile unit under the medical licensing of a permanent medical site. We see this as God ordering our steps.
The Vacaville Center expansion project has already been filled with God’s blessing and provision. Rejoice with us in what the Lord has already provided. Tom Bouffard (TBA), an architect has donated his time and talents by designing and drawing up blue prints for the expansion. He is also committed to seeing this project through. He also brought to us, Bell Brothers Construction. Phil and Don Bell have agreed to donate their time and skills, as Contractors and much needed Project Managers. They are also working on securing material donations for the project from local businesses. Our landlords have given Alpha 6 months free of rent for the new space to allow time for the build out.
We still are in need of volunteer laborers and material donations to make this project a reality. The following key people and/or materials still need to be secured before commencing with the demolition; Plumbing, H.V.A.C. systems, and Light fixtures.
We also need demolition, concrete/ site work, ornamental metal, finish carpentry, insulation, glass and glazing, door/frames/hardware, drywall, acoustical ceiling, carpet and pad, vct and base, wall covering, paint, marker boards and tack boards, toilet accessories, identifying devices, appliances, millwork and counter tops, fire protection, and fire alarm.
Please contact us (707) 449-8991 if you would like to become a part of this project and we will get you in touch with our project managers. All donations are tax deductible. Your time and donations will help us Expand Our Care to Widen Our Reach in Solano County.
