Volunteers are truly the "heart and soul" of our Alpha ministry. These dedicated women and men have completed extensive training at the Center and serve as peer counselors, prayer partners, community resource guides, and in a variety of other critical roles:

Peer Counselors
Volunteer peer counselors are trained extensively in-house and provide counseling and support services to clients and their families in unplanned pregnancy situations, abstinence and post-abortion syndrome.

Office Volunteers
These volunteers perform receptionist & secretarial functions, as well as prepare mailings.

Church Liaisons
These volunteers represent Alpha to their congregation and act as a liaison between the ministry and their church. They inform church members of upcoming events and make sure Alpha's needs are communicated.

Financial Partners
Donors are needed to support the ministry on a regular basis.

Male Volunteers
Volunteers provide hands-on help with building maintenance & special projects.

Medical Staff

Baby Boutique Volunteers
These volunteers coordinate the maternity, baby clothing, and baby equipment donations.

Prayer Partners
Members of our prayer ministry receive prayer updates to help them pray specifically for the ministry

Speakers Bureau
Although Alpha's "house specialty" is confidential, one-on-one counseling, we also maintain and promote a vigorous community outreach.
